After two days of India’s victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final , the tensions between the BCCI and ACC are still high. It flared on Wednesday after senior BCCI representatives Ashish Shelar and Rajeev Shukla staged a walkout from an ACC meeting, protesting the delay in handing over the Asia Cup trophy and players’ medals to Team India.

According to officials, Shelar and Shukla pressed ACC president and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi for clarity on when the trophy and medals would be delivered. However, Naqvi reportedly failed to provide a satisfactory answer.
