Unfortunately, plenty of visitors to Yellowstone National Park have recently been in the news for not keeping the proper distance from wildlife, which can lead to hazardous situations.

For instance, people recently rejoiced after a tourist was handcuffed for approaching a bison . Another example? A man flew a drone over an osprey nest and allegedly returned to Yellowstone National Park to break more rules .

Yet, these accidents aren’t always the visitors’ fault. According to an article by Cowboy State Daily , in mid-September, a group of roughly 40 photographers patiently waiting to take one of the best shots of their lives was shocked after a bison quietly joined the moment. The animal seemed to have come out of nowhere, climbing a steep hill and quickly spreading panic.
