Washington Commanders signing former 1,000-yard WR amid Terry McLaurin injury

The Washington Commanders are reportedly signing a wide receiver to add some depth with Terry McLaurin dealing with an injury.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , the Commanders are signing the wide receiver formerly known as Robby Anderson, Robbie Chosen, to the practice squad.

Chosen hasn't appeared in a game this season and appeared in two contests with the Miami Dolphins in 2024, reeling in one catch for five yards.

He was last with the San Francisco 49ers but was cut loose in early September.

A former 1,000-yard wide receiver in 2020 with the Carolina Panthers , Chosen has seen a steep decline that started in 2021, when he posted 519 yards.
