SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sun Prairie school board has a new member.

The Sun Prairie Area School District announced Tuesday that the Board appointed Dr. Danny Miller to serve through the spring 2026 election.

Miller is an educator at University of Wisconsin- Madison, and worked previously for 10 years as an English teacher.

The Board noted eight other candidates applied and inerviewed for the vacant position.

Board members are excited to welcome Miller, who will bring valuable experience and perspective to the role.

“The Sun Prairie School Board is steadfast in its mission to support the success of every child, every day,” Board officials said. “It is confident that Dr. Miller shares in this unwavering commitment.”
