I’m doing something at work I never thought I’d do. But I don’t know how to stop.
Earlier this year I had my first baby. I’ve been back at work from maternity leave for six weeks and it’s been so hard. I’ve been struggling to keep up with my professional responsibilities. I’m not meeting deadlines like I used to, my attention to detail isn’t what it once was, and I’m having trouble focusing.
So far, my manager doesn’t seem to have noticed. He is pretty hands off anyway, but the main reason is because my younger coworker is still doing half my job for me!
