New police affidavits obtained by WCNC Charlotte reveal a man was arrested this week after being accused of trafficking a teenage Johnson & Wales University student last year.

The affidavits from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department reveal that JWU reached out to the department's human trafficking unit in November 2024, concerned that a 17-year-old student was potentially being trafficked on Sugar Creek Road.
