CANFIELD Building trades students at South Range High School have received new toolboxes for their classrooms thanks to a donation.

South Range building trade teacher Mark Giesy's classroom is now outfitted with toolboxes valued at $1,500 courtesy of One Step Ahead, a non-profit that advocates and funds the revitalization of skilled trades in youth.

According to a post on One Step Ahead Ohio's Facebook page, this donation follows the creation of South Range High School's new skilled trades room.

"This space will provide hands-on learning opportunities and essential resources that will benefit students for years to come. We're proud to play a role in helping prepare the next generation with skills that can carry them into the future," the post reads.
