This past Saturday, Maine Football finally earned its first win of the season when they played in-conference opponent North Carolina A&T at home. The Black Bears started the game off hot, and on the first drive, running back Sincere Baines exploded for a 51-yard touchdown run. A play he and his teammates say set the tone and boosted the energy.

“Anytime there is a big, explosive play like that, it always sparks the energy and lifts the team up," said Baines. "We just got to keep it going.”
