COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Office of Resilience says it will continue to hold events to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene last year.
The agency said its mobile intakes are “for residents with disaster-caused unmet needs from Hurricane Helene to submit applications for disaster recovery assistance.” After identifying financial, physical or emotional needs that have been unmet - officials said an individualized recovery plan will then be created through a partnership with a case manager.
The SCOR added that intake events are open to all residents with unmet needs caused by disasters, regardless of the county in which an event is hosted.
