Whether you like your eggs scrambled, over easy, or tucked inside a gooey omelette, San Diego is about to get two new brunch spots worth rolling out of bed for. Another Broken Egg Café, known for its Southern-inspired twists on breakfast, brunch, and lunch, is opening not one but two locations here in town.

The cafés are being brought to life by uncle-and-niece team Zeeshan Naqvi and Mahrouz Syed. Zeeshan, who studied hospitality in Switzerland back in the ’90s, has spent more than 30 years running restaurants across Southern California. Mahrouz, currently studying hospitality at San Diego State, is already managing one of her dad’s breakfast spots. Together, they’re ready to make Another Broken Egg a new favorite for locals, according to a news release.
