LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) - Police in the Upper Valley will host a forum on Tuesday evening focused on keeping kids safe online.
Members of the Lebanon Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit will lead a discussion for parents and guardians about the dangers of online activity.
The forum will highlight popular apps kids use and give people a better idea about the work of the department’s cybercrimes unit.
“Talk about types of predators that are out there, tactics that are being used, and how to stay safe online. How to report an internet-related crime if they do happen to become a victim,” Lebanon Police Lt. Richard Norris said.
The forum is at the Lebanon Police Station from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., but seating is limited. The meeting is designed to be interactive, so people should come with questio
