Another school in the city of Rialto Tuesday was placed on a lockdown, school officials said Tuesday.

One day after Rialto High School was put on a lockdown after the reported threat of an active shooter Monday, students and staff at Wilmer Amina Carter High School were also forced to shelter in place Tuesday.

The Rialto Unified School District did not say what prompted the lockdown.

Parents and families were notified that Rialto High is put on a lockdown, the district said.

The Rialto Police Department said it’s working with the district

Just about six miles from Wilmer Amina Carter High School, Rialto High School had to secure its students and staff Monday following the threat of an active shooter.
