Syracuse.com girls field hockey rankings (Week 4): No. 1 rolls on, but there’s big churn right below

Syracuse, N.Y. — While Rome Free Academy continues to look like a machine at No. 1, a handful of teams have emerged as dangerous contenders waiting in the wings in this week’s syracuse.com field hockey poll.

The Black Knights remain the only perfect team in Section III at 9-0. Little Falls was right in RFA’s shadow at No. 2, but then dropped four spots with a loss to Baldwinsville last week.
