LANE COUNTY, Ore. - Wildfire smoke from the Moon Complex Fire in Southern Oregon has led to an air quality advisory for Lane County, according the Lane Regional Air Protection Agency.

LRAPA officials said that this advisory affects the county's western coastal mountain range, including areas from Mapleton to Veneta. Smoke from the Moon Complex Fire in Josephine County has been drifting into the Eugene-Springfield area, causing intermittent poor air quality. LRAPA clarified that no prescribed burns occurred in Lane County recently, and none are planned until air quality improves.
