The Toronto Police Mounted Unit apparently is ready to pony up a little extra encouragement to the star outfielder for the playoffs: A ride down Bremner Boulevard on a police horse. Article content Article content

Springer had fans going wild when, during an on-field interview following the team’s AL East-clinching win on Sunday, he told Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae, “Tarp off. Police horse is ready. Here we f*****g go.”
