Isabelle Hoppe will begin college in January, but she won’t be gone long. She will return to Pine-Richland High School in June to join her classmates at the graduation ceremony.

“I’m officially graduating in December, but the school is allowing me to return in June to walk across the stage with my classmates,” said Hoppe, who committed to the University of Pittsburgh to play for the No. 5-ranked Panthers women’s volleyball team.

Hoppe has wanted to graduate early since she was in middle school. Her goal was to begin her collegiate volleyball career early. It was just a question of which school she would attend.
Hoppe, who is considered one of the top setter recruits in the country, made her choice in June 2024.
