BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Kern County Animal Services is offering $20 adoptions through the month of October.

The shelter's hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The $20 adoptions will end on Nov. 1 and adoptions fees are waived for 30-day dogs and cats. Adoption fees include spay and neuter, microchips, vaccinations and licenses.
