ALLEN PARK -- Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions didn’t stuff the box score and light up the scoreboard as they had in recent weeks.
The Lions were able to pull away, with the defense and special teams having big days. Goff missed some passes and threw an interception in the 34-10 win over the Cleveland Browns.
But the quarterback deserves some serious credit for the Lions not allowing a sack for their third straight game. Goff fearlessly stood in the pocket, got the ball out when he needed to, and was able to move around enough to avoid damage.
Pro Football Focus had the Browns with 15 pressures created last Sunday. Star pass rusher Myles Garrett had eight of those to go along with two quarterback hits. But Goff was able to avoid the sack, and the offensive line made some nice recove
