WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two West Allis Police Department officers discharged their weapons at a suspect during a domestic violence incident Sunday, Sept. 28,

Officials were called to 69th and Becher around 5:20 p.m. for a report of a 39-year-old man assaulting his girlfriend. Initial information, according to police, indicated the man pushed his girlfriend to the ground, pressed a handgun to her head and told her she could not leave.

The male suspect, officials say, also armed himself with a knife, pointed it at his girlfriend and threatened to kill her.
