COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) — Liberty Fence and Lumber Products owner Justin Czar was working in his showroom Monday afternoon when he suddenly heard "a lot of commotion" outside.

He looked out the window and was stunned see that a car had crashed through the fence outside the Child Care Plus Learning Center.

Czar said he immediately ran across South Main Street and over to the day care to assess the situation and assist in any way he could.

"There were a few children who were injured," Czar said. "The staff took them right inside the building."

"Whenever kids are involved in anything, it hits you right here," he continued, pointing to his heart.
