GREENSBORO, N.C. — A deputy with the Guilford County Sheriff's Office is facing multiple charges in connection to a car crash in Greensboro.

According to court records, Demetris Rashaun Farrow was involved in a car crash on West Wendover Avenue on Sept. 28. A police report details the crash, saying Farrow drove into a nearby guard rail near the West Friendly off-ramp.

Reports say Farrow then failed to notify police of the crash, which caused damage to property of the state.

Police administered a breath test on Farrow, which yielded a result of 0.15. The legal limit for licensed drivers in North Carolina is 0.08.

He was charged with:

Driving while impaired

Hit/run failure to stop property damage

Failure to report accident

The Guilford County Sheriff's Office says Farrow is suspended
