PHILADELPHIA — Vic Fangio was done answering questions Tuesday. The Eagles defensive coordinator could have walked off the stage at the team’s practice facility without saying another word, but he had one more thing he wanted to get off his chest.

“You know what you guys have missed?” Fangio asked. “Not just you guys, but everybody. You know we gave up a 65-yard field goal and a 58-yard field goal. These kicking balls that they have changed this year have drastically changed the kicking game. Field goals, in particular. It’s almost like they need an asterisk like it was the live-ball era (in baseball) or an asterisk for those home runs that (Barry) Bonds, (Sammy) Sosa and (Mark) McGwire were hitting.”
