Auston Trusty has handed Celtic a major injury boost by announcing his return to training. ‌

The Hoops stopper hasn't kicked a ball since last month's goalless Champions League playoff first leg stalemate with Kairat Alamty in Glasgow. ‌

Trusty was sidelined indefinitely due to plantar fasciitis - a troublesome foot injury that can last for months - and missed the Parkhead club's last six games. ‌

But the USA international, 27, could now return to the matchday squad for Thursday's visit of Braga in the Europa League after completing his comeback.

Pumped-up Trusty couldn't hide his delight on Instagram as he wrote: “Annddd we’re back in action! Feels good to be back on the pitch, and I’m excited to pick up where I left off.”
