CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. —

Two cousins have been arrested after allegedly robbing the Department of Motor Vehicles in Chester County, South Carolina, at gunpoint earlier this year.

According to arrest warrants, on March 5, 2025, 43-year-old Rashonda Michelle Hollingsworth gave her cousin, 43-year-old Michael Hollingsworth, a ride to the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles on Belt Road in Chester. Michael robbed the SCDMV at gunpoint and took $12,165 in cash and $8,000 in checks.

After the armed robbery, Rashonda and Michael allegedly fled the scene in a 2015 Hyundai Elantra.

On Sept. 23, Michael was arrested and booked into the Chester County Detention Center without bond.
