PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles ’ defense has been hit by the injury bug recently. But soon enough, a key member of last year’s Super Bowl-winning defense will be back.
Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean, who missed the first four games of the season, will return to practice either this week or next, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said Tuesday.
“And we’ll see where he’s at,” Fangio said at the NovaCare Complex.
Dean started the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list while recovering from a torn patellar tendon suffered in the NFC divisional round win over the Packers.
Players on the PUP list can have a 21-day practice window opened after the first four games to allow them to ramp up and be added to the 53-man roster. If the team does not activate the player within the 21-day w
