KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has welcomed a new member to its team, and it walks on four legs.
The TBI said it has added a new "electronic storage detection K-9," which is specially trained to sniff out electronic storage devices such as hard drives, flash drives and micro-SD cards less than a millimeter thick.
According to the TBI, the new team member is a 17-month-old black Labrador Retriever named Marvel. His expertise in sniffing electronics will be focused on child exploitation cases, the agency said.
