BRANSON, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) - White River Valley Electric Cooperative announced that Chris Hamon, Chief Executive Officer, will retire from the company effective September 1, 2026, after a remarkable 40-year career with the organization.

Under Hamon’s leadership, the cooperative has successfully navigated a range of operational and environmental challenges, including severe weather events and complex legal matters, while maintaining organizational resilience and stability. He oversaw the implementation of significant technological enhancements during this time, establishing a modern and efficient distribution system that will continue to serve members reliably for years to come.
