(NewsNation) — Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from her husband, Keith Urban, on Tuesday, one day after news broke that the couple separated.
Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences" for the divorce and wants to stay as the "primary residential parent of the minor children,” TMZ was first to report.
The pair waived spousal and child support and will retain their own assets, signaling they have a prenuptial agreement.
Urban and Kidman have already worked out a custody agreement, which includes a parenting plan, a child support worksheet as well as taking co-parenting classes, according to TMZ.
