Netflix’s planned Hollywood-style production studio at the Jersey Shore could bring an immediate $47 million payout to a local town plus millions more over the next 30 years, according to a proposed tax deal.

The streaming giant recently secured final site plan approvals for its massive $903 million project at Fort Monmouth , a former U.S. Army base that spans Eatontown and Oceanport near Route 35.

In a unanimous vote on Sept. 1, Eatontown’s planning board approved the last and largest phase of the project that will serve as the centerpiece of the 289-acre studio campus.

Eatontown Mayor Anthony Talerico announced Friday that Netflix has also applied for a Payment in Lieu of Taxes, or PILOT, program for the studio.
