Kansas City-based University of Kansas Cancer Center will engage seven KU men’s and women’s basketball players to serve as brand ambassadors and elevate fundraising initiatives.  The athletes will appear across various multimedia channels to encourage donations to the KU Cancer Center through the V Foundation, according to a Sept. 30 news release from the university.

The fundraising campaign is called the Jayhawks Victory Over Cancer and will run through Dec. 31, the release said. The post KU Cancer Center taps basketball players to boost research funding appeared first on Becker's Hospital Review | Healthcare News & Analysis.
