The Eagles will have a new long snapper when they face the Broncos Sunday.
They placed veteran Charley Hughlett on Injured Reserve Tuesday with an undisclosed injury and signed Cal Adomitis, the Bengals’ snapper the last three years.

Hughlett is in his first year with the Eagles after spending 10 years with the Browns. He replaced Rick Lovato, who was the Eagles’ long snapper from the middle of 2016 through last year. Lovato is now with the Chargers.
The Eagles signed a different long snapper – Christian Johnstone – when Hughlett missed a week of practice early in training camp. Adomitis was still on the Bengals’ roster until he was released on Aug. 2.
