LUBBOCK, Texas-- Texas Tech University created a documentary titled “Flatland Forever: A Texas Tech Story” to honor the 10-year anniversary of the successful country band Flatland Calvary, which originated from Texas Tech.

In 2014, Cleto Cordero, Reid Dillon, Adam Gallegos, Jason Albers, Jonathan Saenz and Wesley Hall formed a band while attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The band received nominations for the Academy of Country Music’s Group of the Year Award in both 2024 and 2025.
