LUBBOCK, Texas -- Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers filed a lawsuit on Wednesday afternoon on behalf of a mother and her three-year-old son against the Lubbock Independent School District (LISD) and a former preschool teacher, accusing her of sexually assaulting a child.

Lubbock ISD said after it was recently made aware of concerns, the school immediately took action. Lubbock ISD confirmed the teacher is no longer employed with the district. The district said the Lubbock Police Department, Child Protective Services and the Lubbock ISD Police Department were involved in an investigation.
