SLATE HILL – Mid-Hudson News has obtained the findings of the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) report conducted by the Minisink Valley Central School District into varsity softball coach Bruce Guyette.
The probe concluded that several DASA allegations against Guyette, the second all-time winningest softball coach in state history, were “supported by corroboration from students” or the coach’s “own admission.” A DASA investigation is a formal school-based process used to address incidents of alleged bullying, harassment, or discrimination against students.
Guyette said that some of his alleged comments and conduct may have been exaggerated, taken out of context, or plainly untrue. He has filed an appeal with the State Education Department, requesting that it dismiss the findings of the
