PARKVILLE, Mo. -- Dozens of businesses in downtown Parkville are throwing a party for the drop of Taylor Swift's new album on Friday -- and you're invited.

They're also celebrating the pop-star's engagement to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Stephanie Herbig said more than 25 businesses in downtown Parkville are taking part in the free event celebrating Swift’s new album release.

Herbig owns Cheeky Bird Boutique.

She said the orange door hanging in her store window represents a countdown to the album drop and fans are excited to enter a new era and hear Swift’s new music.

“We created our version of the lover house,” Herbig said.
