A Philly man was arrested for stabbing two people, one fatally, in less than an hour in Kensington earlier in September, police said on Tuesday.

The stabbings occurred around 10 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2025, police said, with the first stabbing occurring at 9:45 a.m. when a 47-year-old woman was stabbed at the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue.

The woman was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition, police said.

The second stabbing occurred at around 10:05 a.m., when 52-year-old Richard Hall was stabbed in the area of Amber and Allegheny Avenue, police said.

Hall was found face down on the ground with a stab wound to the back of the head, police said. He was pronounced dead at 10:15 a.m.
