HARRISBURG, S.D. (KELO) —Across the nation, the demand for organic produce is growing.

Farmers and producers gathered today for an event hosted by the South Dakota Specialty Producers Association.

"This is an event– a networking event to bring farmers, buyers, traders and brokers together to have a conversation about just all everything about organic agriculture, mostly, though, about how do you get it from the field to the table," SDSPA Organic Ag Advisor, Angela Jackson said.

While Stephen Boyda represents both OFARM and Central Plains Organic Farming Association, he also believes strongly in organic farming.
