TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) - Texarkana College hosted a day of festivities on campus Tuesday (Sept. 30) to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Texarkana College Hispanic Student Association played a key role in planning and executing the event. Leaders say the festival was a chance to celebrate the richness of Hispanic culture and share it with the entire community.

Several area schools and businesses provided support for the event, which organizers say they hope highlighted the Hispanic culture in the area.
