BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Trade schools and polytechnic universities, like Bismarck State College, are struggling to find instructors in some areas but have plenty of outside professionals to help in other academic programs.
The Department of Education reports that at least 26 states are experiencing teacher shortages.
Bismarck State College just started its Electrical Technician program this fall; 18 students are enrolled, and many more are on the wait list due to a lack of instructors.
