OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - An Overland Park man has suffered life-threatening injuries after an aggravated battery at a memory care facility.
The Overland Park Police Department said they were called to a long-term care facility in the area of 75th Street and Switzer Road just after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
There, a 66-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Another resident, a 71-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
OPPD said an investigation led detectives to believe a third resident, an 84-year-old man, was responsible for the injuries to the other two men. Police said the suspect was being evaluated at a local hospital and was cooperating with investigators.
