Assistant prosecutor says death of Hamtramck jeweler in home 'not random'

Hussein "Sam" Murray was the longtime owner of a Hamtramck jewelry shop and pawn shop.

He was found slain in the basement of his Rochester Hills home nearly a year ago.

Two juries have been seated in the cases against Carlos Hernandez and Joshua Zuazo in Murray's death.

An Oakland County assistant prosecutor said the fatal attack on a longtime Hamtramck jeweler inside his Rochester Hills home nearly a year ago by men posing as DTE workers "was not random" or coincidence.
