An educator who'd been on leave for allegedly violating the school social media policy for Peabody, Massachusetts, in the wake of Charlie Kirk's killing is set to return to the classroom this week, the district and its teachers union announced Tuesday.

Multiple Massachusetts teachers were placed on leave over comments allegedly made online about Kirk's death, including two in Peabody. Superintendent Josh Vadala said at the time that the investigation into the two high school teachers concerned alleged policy violations "including but not limited to inappropriate social media posts following the death of Charlie Kirk," something they took seriously.
