Northern volleyball won a 3-1 decision over Boiling Springs on Tuesday in non-divisional play, snapping a two-match losing streak.

Sam Petroff led the way for the Polar Bears with nine aces, eight kills and eight digs. Katie Lusk chipped in with eight kills, five digs, two aces and an assist from the outside position.

Meanwhile, Nora Mailey finished with seven kills and a block while both Liz Montgomery and Paige Youtzy added on four kills and a block.

Northern won the opening two sets by scores of 25-9 and 25-20 before Boiling Springs took the third set 24-26. The Polar Bears then won the fourth and final set 25-15.

Cara Carothers had six kills, three digs and two aces for the Bubblers. Evie Wiedenmayer added on three kills, an ace and a block.
