A sharp cool down will sweep through central Pennsylvania on Wednesday and Thursday, with potential for frost in northern areas and temperatures dropping significantly from Tuesday’s summer-like warmth.

The region will experience a dramatic temperature shift as a backdoor cold front moves through, dropping daytime highs from the upper 70s and low 80s to the low 60s and 70s on Wednesday.

Thursday will be even cooler, with temperatures likely struggling to reach 70 degrees.
