One person was detained in connection with the deaths of two people found deceased inside a Sycamore home, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said.

At approximately 8:40 a.m., the sheriff's office received a call from an individual, asking deputies to check on relatives in the 1300 block of Oakland Drive. Deputies arrived at the scene and located two people who had died inside the home.

Through an investigation, police learned a vehicle was missing from the residence. After law enforcement located the vehicle in the Rockford area using a license plate reader, a Winnebago County sheriff's deputy pulled it over and detained the driver, authorities said.

As of Tuesday evening, the victims haven't been identified, and authorities haven't revealed whether charges have been filed.
