JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. —

The Jeffersonville Police Department is celebrating new leadership this week.

Scott McVoy will be sworn in as the department's new chief during a ceremony Wednesday morning at City Hall.

He was appointed the interim chief in August.

McVoy has spent the past 14 years with the department.
