Two area volunteer fire departments are among those receiving federal funding through the Fiscal Year 2024 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

The Caroga Lake Volunteer Fire Company and Stratford Volunteer Fire Department recently announced that they received federal funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
