LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Laredo Police Department launched a death investigation after the body of a man was found in central Laredo.

LPD reported the incident on Tuesday, August 30, before 9 p.m. at 3219 San Bernardo Ave.

Authorities said they received a report from a caller who found a man believed to be unhoused, on the floor, not breathing.

The police did not identify the deceased man; the investigation is ongoing.
