LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened on East Seventh Street.

Police say it happened around 8:15 p.m. on September 30.

Officers were called to a home for a reported shooting victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Fayette County Coroner was on scene. The victim’s name has not been released.
