NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The battle between Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway opposers and the Metropolitan Board of Fair Commissioners continues to rage on.

A meeting was held on Tuesday for neighbors to share their opinions on the future of the property.

Years' worth of discussions have taken place over the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. But one neighbor told News 2 that she believes they still have a good chance of winning this battle.

Heidi Favorite founded Neighbors Opposing Track Expansion six years ago over concerns about the expansion proposal that was proposed by former Nashville Mayor John Cooper.
